Kevin McCormack – Writer / Director
Kevin is a writer/director. His short film "The Man Who Wasn't" earned an IFP/NY (Independent Film Producers Association) Audience Choice award. From 2013 to 2018, Kevin served as a digital content creator for UNICEF Rwanda. He shares a story credit on the feature film "Brighton Beach" starring Barney Harris and F.K.A Twiggs. Kevin earned a BS in Film and Television from St. John's University and further honed his skills at Columbia University School of Arts Film Division, where he earned his MFA. At Columbia Univeristy, he was the recipient of numerous awards, including the prestigious Dean's Fellowship, the Cinematography Fellowship, and Milos Forman fund. Kevin's latest screenplay, "A Killing on Poplar Tree Lane," is in development with Brian Levy at Management 360.
Kevin is a child of rural Jamaica, a Product of New York City, and his many years in Kenya, Rwanda, and Iceland shaped his distinct eye and storytelling style.
